Yes, Signet’s Art Department will take your ideas or provide you with some suggestions and will show you a layout for your approval before producing your sign.

What size sign do I need?
Consider how far away the readers will be. The size will depend on the distance from which it will be viewed and the time the reader has to view the sign. Are they driving or walking by it?
Following is a list of some minimum letter heights as a guide: At 100 feet = 4”, 250 feet = 10”, 360 feet (city block) = 16”, 500 feet = 22”, 750 feet = 33”, 1000 feet = 43”, 1320 feet (1/4 mile) = 57”.
What is a good color combination for signage?
Some of the most readable colors combo are:
Background - Lettering
Black - White; Black - Yellow
White - Black; White - Red; White - Blue; White - Green
Red - White; Red - Yellow
Yellow - Red; Yellow - Blue

What do you suggest for indoor use?
For temporary, indoor use we suggest paper posters, gator board or foam core mounted, or coroplast.
Permanent, indoor use would include komatex, acrylic, aluminum, alumilite, wood, 10 oz. vinyl banners.
